Mission StatementGh Flag

" To instill in our students a love for learning, Christian and moral values, and civic responsibility."

If you want your child to have quality, affordable and Christian-oriented education, COHISS invites you to take a closer look at what we offer:

Small Class Size

Small class size (s) is one of our strong assets that sets us apart from other schools.  The individualized attention we offer allow us to develop student-specific methods to elevate all students.  Discipline, tardiness, God fearing, law abiding and respect for one another is required of all students.

High Standards

We demand very high standards from students, especially in the learning of literacy and numeric skills.  The school is constantly seeking innovative approaches to teaching to ensure that our pupils are able to further develop their God-given potentials to the fullest.

Computer Training

We have integrated Basic Computing training in all our curriculums. This offers our pupils a heads-up, as they try to build skills that are relevant in today's workplace. Skills learned will include internet and email usage, applications, keyboarding and computer software/ hardware repairs.  Students are required to pay a small amount lab fees to ensure that the school is able to maintain the facility and offer Internet Access.

Tuition Fees

Our tuition fees are relatively competitive, making it affordable for parents who otherwise cannot afford first-rate private education. Installment payments can be arranged for parents or guardians who cannot pay full tuition fee at one payment.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Partial Scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic and leadership achievements but cannot afford tuition cost.  It is our belief that talented students should not be denied education due to lack of financial resources. We, therefore, continue to seek external funding from individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations to enable us offer need-based scholarships.

Location

Our location is well suited for an educational facility. We are few miles drive away from major places of interest and educational institutions such as the Kumasi Airport, Kumasi National Zoo, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),  Opoku Ware SchoolPrempeh CollegeAshanti Library,  St. Louis Secondary,  Manhyia Palace (King of Ashanti's Residence and Office), National Cultural Center and Adum, the downtown of Kumasi, the second largest city of Ghana. Taxi and Bus services are readily available.
